Our Process

At Performance Therapy, we pride ourselves on finding the right solution for your chronic pain. As the only Integrative Diagnosis providers in the Carolinas, we offer advanced assessment and treatment solutions. Most of our patients have seen multiple providers before finding the real cause and solution for their pain. Not everyone is right for our care, but patients leave our office knowing what is wrong and what needs to be done moving forward!

How our process works

Step 1
Exam

This visit typically lasts 30 minutes. We begin with a thorough case history and functional exam to determine the root cause of your pain. This assessment allows us to establish your prognosis and lay out a treatment plan. It is our aim to include you in your care through communication and education.

Step 2
Treatment

Over a series of visits, we apply the most effective, hands-on treatment using Manual Adhesion Release and Instrument Adhesion Release to help resolve your muscle and joint problems by increasing ranges of motion and improving strength. Our goal is to get you better as quickly as possible.

Step 3
Retest, Case Management

Assess treatment changes, manage load, and increase strength to reduce and eliminate symptoms to the maximum conservative care allows!

Testimonial

Coach Lance Leo - Ironman Triathlete

"Post Kona 2007 I came down with a case of Illiotibial Tract Syndrome (ITB) that pretty much sidelined me for most of the early stages of 2008. With the help of Mike and his incredible ART skills we were able to eliminate the grip this injury had on me by July. Mike not only has an exceptional knowledge base, but also has a sincere interest in your speedy recovery and in assisting you in achieving your athletic goals. I will continue to recommend him to my athletes for results come from his hands, mind, and heart."
