Mike Danenberg began working in fitness when he was fourteen years old. He holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine. After college, he worked with the Citadel's Army Rangers designing their strength and conditioning regimes. Mike then became the fitness director of a club in Charleston, SC.

After moving to Charlotte in 1995, when he was recruited to be the fitness director at Kings Sports Complex, he taught Neuromuscular Therapy and Palpatory Anatomy at the South Eastern School for Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy.

After my son injured his ankle we were told by the doctors that his season was over with a bad high ankle sprain. After several people recommend Mike Danenberg we decided to try him out. Mike’s unique approach of treatment and functional exercises got him back playing in a few weeks.
